Suggestions?

I think I need to rename my blog.

Technically, I'm not from New York anymore. While I was born and raised in NY - and still identify myself as a New Yorker, I haven't actually lived there for close to twenty years. The title of this blog seems to infer that I am some young, swingin' single living in NYC. Could I be further from that if I tried? I'm in my 30s, live in Colorado, and stay at home with my three boys.

OK, so I definitely need a new name for my blog.

Here are some ideas I had:
-Welcome to My World
-My Three Sons (although my blog is about more than my boys)
-4 Boys & Me
-Colorado Connection
-Suburban Stories

If you've got something better, I'd love to hear it!

Since you use the train allegory in your blog, how about..."Train Wreck...The Story of Me, My Husband and My Three Boys". Not to imply that your life is one! There is always, "Life as the President" or "Mountain Mama", OK now I'm revealing exactly how bad the cold that I have is!

Is there a prize involved? Something????

I guess I would suggest the title have something to do with "Handprints", because it was something you had always wanted to do with your boys and the cement handprints - and you are sort of leaving your own mark out here.

Beauty and the Beasts (just noticed the title on the opening page of your blog...not saying your boys are beasts at all)

All Aboard (or something else involving the rail road theme)

On the banks of Horse Creek (is that where you live? I forget)

Oh sheesh...where's Vern when we need her? Isn't she done tiling yet? Help us out oh witty one...

May I suggest "Confessions of an Unbalanced Woman"? Or how about "What the hell is a fajita?" Then again "Scrapbooker Hooker" has a nice ring to it - too bad you're not a prostitute.

OOO...I thought of another one..
Beyond BYU

Because isn't that what got you blogging? A desire to get your google identity away from the alumni newsletter?

Ok, yeah, you're right, this would probably just cause the search engine to put that entry back up on page one.

There is always Yappy Scrapper?
Or Muddy No More?

OMG: I really think you're on your own on this one...

"Scrapbook Hooker"!!! Can you imagine the hits you'd get everyday with a blog name like that?? Of course, the comments might be a bit strange... but think of the entry possiblities!

I knew Vern would make us laugh.

Hold on there ladies!!!

I think I may have to ban Vern from commenting on my blog. I'm SOOO not using any title that includes "hooker!"

Beyond BYU is cute, so is Handprints. I was also thinking of maybe something about Salad and Breadsticks - since that is my favorite part of any meal, yet seems to lack any real substance - not unlike my blog?

I'm still searching...

Back to this scrapbooker hooker...I'm inclined to think she's more of the "Madame" in this business...because doesn't she teach you all the tricks of the trade and then send you out on your own?
