Is it Time?

The Caboose is well over 2 1/2 years old now, and has never had his hair cut. Not so much as a trim. Strangers are commenting on what a beautiful girl I have with increasing frequency, and so I am starting to wonder...

Is it time to cut his hair???

To be clear, there is NO WAY I would cut his hair short, but I am thinking of a good trim.

What do you think?

Can we transplant Caboose's hair to Heidi? She's in desparate need of some hair, not just curly, but just hair.

You say you want a girl, well. . . you've got the hair of a beautiful little girl on that poor boy's head.

Seriously though, his hair is WAY CUTE!!! Don't cut it. Think about the time you cut one of the BB's hair. They may not come back...

Maybe he can be Shirley Temple for Halloween. Then cut it.

(some commentary by Tyler)

I think you will be sad if you do cut it. Kai doesn't have hair nearly as awesome as that, but when we cut it the first time I was devastated. And we just went for a trim. He just finally has his Jim (from the office) flip back.

If you don't cut it, I have several DARLING hair bows you are more than welcome to borrow!

It's beautiful hair and his curls are to die for - but it is probably time for a little trim. Just enough that he looks like your handsome little boy again.

One day it may just decide to be straight and then you will have Fabio on your hands!

I'm with Cheryl, let him be Shirley Temple for Halloween (ok, so cruel)
We have Weston's first haircut on video and I'm sitting there holding him bawling my eyes out. 3kids later and I still get upset for their first haircut. I don't know, you and I just have boys so when we are blessed with boys who have gorgeous hair (I secretly hope someday Weston will want to grow his hair long...) it's a tough call but I'd probably hang onto them for a while longer, that's just me. Kris is the one who's always telling me "the boys need to get their hair cut already!" And he'd like them all to have crew cuts, UGH! If you really need to cut it, have you tried to see if you could trim a bit and still keep the curl? Argh, I don't envy you one bit...that first haircut is an emotional one for me.

Hey, Tyler's bro had a baby blessing yesterday and everyone was talking about babies with curly hair so Tyler got out the laptop and had to show off Brayden's curls!! People were amazed by him and how cute he is...seriously those curls are AMAZING!!!

We cut Roo's hair for the same reason, "Oh, SHE is so cute!" Jason hated that. But we went way short and I have missed it ever since - glad you are just thinking of a trim!
