When Diamond and I went to
Vegas last year we were able to earn two free plane tickets simply for taking a flight that left two hours later than our booked flight. We were originally planning to use those tickets for our family vacation to the beach, but we got such a great deal on our flights to Florida, we decided to hold onto our free tickets for another trip.
So, where should we go?
Here are the details:
1. We're looking to travel in April or May.
2. We are going without the kids! (Yeah mom and dad!!!)
3. The number one goal is to RELAX!
4. We want to fly somewhere we can't easily drive.
5. Continental US
6. We can only stay three-ish night. (see #2)
What do you think? Where would you go?

Hey! I found your blog through someone else in our old ward. I hope you don't mind, it's so fun to keep up with old friends. My suggestion for your vacation is some resort in Florida or Mexico. Some place warm and sunny with a beach. You said you love the beach. And some kind of resort where you can get good food, maybe a spa treatment, and those fancy drinks with umbrellas in them. That's what I'd do. :)
San Diego is a favorite of mine, as is San Francisco.
Rexburg, IDAHO is a pretty place! Lots of ice fishing around these parts. :)
Seattle or the Oregon Coast!
That comment was from Cheryl...and actually Cheryl changed her mind and thinks that you should give the tickets to David's favorite sister so that she can come visit you in Denver.
This is Tyler.
I would go to either D.C. or NYC. But then again, I've never been there. San Fran or San Diego sound great though. What about Nashville or Raleigh.
Nah. Cheryl's right... just place them in an envelope and send them our direction. I'll reimburse you the 42¢.
I know you said continental US, but you HAVE to go to Maui! We went there for our honeymoon and it is the PERFECT place to relax without kids. We loved it and want to go back.
OOOOH I wanna take you to Bermuda, Bahamas, come on pretty Mama! Yeah, I heard and am soooo jeaous!!!
Rent a house on the Oregon coast. Northern beaches are amazingly beautiful.
I've got a guest bedroom.
I second the Seattle area.
It's not super warm that time of year, but it is beautiful and green with lots of relaxing things to do.
Cruise, cruise, cruise...need I say more :)
Monterey Beach and stay at the jabberwock bed and breakfast
http://www.bnblist.com/ca/jabberwock/ and take a day trip to Hearst Castle....the drive on highway one is worth it!
I vote for Seattle or Washington State. It's beautiful there!
